Sunday, October 3rd at 3:30 pm, The Hopeful Hikers, a five (5) member team consisting of Hilda Holt, Sandy and Jim Paxton, Rita Vineski and Kathy Nafis are hosting a silent and live auction to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness. The five (5) member team will be walking in the 3 day 60 mile Susan G Komen 3-Day for the cure fund raiser in Tampa October 29-31, 2010. In 2008 this team was recognized as the #1 power team in the Tampa area.
The organization is dedicated to saving lives and the scourge of breast cancer forever! It’s a great cause, and this promises to be one of the most entertaining nights Caliente has ever seen!
