Caliente Caribe is an all-inclusive clothing optional resort on the north coast of the Dominican Republic that welcomes couples and singles in an adult’s only venue. Located on 123 acres of private ocean front property near the village of Abreu and Caliente Caribe is the only resort in the Dominican Republic to hold an official governmental permit granting the right to operate as a nudist or clothing-optional resort. Because of this, the resort adheres strictly to the established guidelines of proper behavior in a clothing-optional facility and requires guests to comply with these guidelines during the course of their stay.

Activities & Amenities:

There are tennis, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, a fitness center and a media room on the grounds. We offer various organized daytime activities as well as off property excursions, such as Golf, horseback riding, whale watching and many others. The resort also offers SCUBA instruction (nude, of course!) and dive trips for an extra charge. Ocean kayaks and snorkeling gear are available by the beach. Caliente Caribe features three freshwater swimming pools and two saunas, which like most resorts, tend to be the social center of the resort. It is easy to get up a game of water volleyball in a pool specifically designed for that purpose. The main pool with a free flowing shape and a swim-up bar is a great place to relax and make new friends.

Dining & Nightlife:

There are two restaurants and three bars at Caliente Caribe, the main dining room and a grill on the beach. Food quality is a real matter of pride for the management of Caliente Caribe. All meals feature table service and the menu includes some typical Caribbean fare and a variety of restaurant style dishes. Caliente Caribe also offers "happy hour" with hors d'oeuvres. Nightlife - Even though Caliente Caribe is the ultimate in relaxation, our entertainment directors offer a number of events for the enjoyment of our guests. In addition to a discotheque, we offer a number of activities, such as karaoke, Dominican dancers, live music, beach parties, plus a gift shop and a full-service spa providing relaxing massages at the water's edge.

Accommodations:

There are 126 newly-renovated air-conditioned rooms and Villas, all with ocean views.

Hotel Rooms, located on the sea cliff, are approximately 578 sq. ft. and have one king-size or two queen-size beds, coffee table and two chairs, wardrobe, fridge and full bathroom and a patio or balcony.

Studios are approximately 738 sq. ft. and have one king-size or two queen-size beds (with reading lights), coffee table and two chairs, open hanging space and plenty of drawers, full bathroom, kitchen and patio or balcony.

One Bedroom Apartments are 1062 sq. ft. suites that have one king-size or 2 queen-size beds in a separate bedroom and an enormous lounge/dining room/kitchenette. All equipment is the same as in the studios.

One Bedroom Private Villas are 860 sq. ft. and are all identical in size and equipment with ocean views. They comprise a large bedroom with a king-size bed, living room with sofa, two chairs, coffee table, dining area, kitchen, tile bath with shower and a covered veranda. Villas are located in The Cove and are nearest the beach.

Two Bedroom Villas are 1514 sq. ft. and they are also located in the cove area. These units offer a large living room & kitchen with an open floor plan and one bedroom and bath on each side of the Villa. Some two bedroom villas have a fully tiled outdoor double shower that runs the width of the villa in back, all under a covered veranda. These are set thirty yards back from the beach in the front row on the most private far end of the cove.

Casa Grande - Lastly, at the most elevated point of the resort is a 3-bedroom house that over look the magnificent grounds. Casa Grande is very secluded with a private pool & wrap around balcony. This is available to rent or to use for private parties during your stay with us. Whether you are planning a wedding, anniversary, or a birthday, Caliente Caribe is the perfect destination.
